"Dad's trout basket always hung on a nail in the store until the spring. I remember digging for worms in the potato ground behind the store for the May 24th weekend when we would all walk to Rocky Pond to go trouting. I tried to keep all the trout alive one time when I was young by pouring water through the hole in the basket all the way home. It didn't work too well."
